Mystery Globe Trotting Quilt Along–Top Finished

Raise your hand if you love Block of the Month’s and Quilt Alongs but seem to take FOREVER to put the blocks together?  My hand is raised and waving around like a crazy person right now.  IMG_4778

However – Pat Sloan gave us a prize incentive to have our quilt tops done by the end of November – so I did!  I didn’t win the prize … but I do have a finished quilt top for the Globetrotting Mystery Quilt Along all ready for quilting!  I chose to lay my quilt out a bit differently than what she showed us.  It’s a bit busy … but when I questioned it my mother-in-law, Diane, assured me that this was what ‘Kim’ quilts often turn out like!  I must admit … I do love all the color and pattern even though it is busy!

Keep an eye on Pat’s Blog for details on the upcoming FREE 2015 Mystery BOM – Vacation Time!  These are great ways to develop your piecing skills, learn new techniques, and put together a fun quilt.
