Hydrangeas and Apple Blossoms–A mini quilt

I have another quilt finish to cross off my list!  My Aurifil Mini Quilt designed by Kimberly JollyIMG_8518

I’m calling it ‘Hydrangeas and Apple Blossoms’.

I quilted this with an invisible thread to just pull out texture in the fabric instead of adding yet another design element.

I used two of my original spoonflower fabrics for this mini quilt:

  1. What an interesting way to bring those fabrics together! The invisible thread works really well, the texture looks great.

  2. I've also used invisible thread for quilting when I didn't want to detract from the quilt top. Smart!
