International Quilt Festival–Houston 2015

Last year I attended the International Quilt Festival as a visitor and admirer of quilts.  This year I won’t be there in person – but I’m proud to announce that I will still be represented at the show.

Modern Log Cabin Quilt

My quilt ‘Modern Log Cabin’ was accepted into the special exhibit “In the American Tradition 2015: International Quilts.”

Someone needs to pinch me!  I can’t believe this is actually happening!

  6. Awesome! I look forward to seeing it in person. There are always so many wonderful quilts to look at, and I have a fun time going up to one I know from online to see the detail and true colors. It's like a favorite celebrity coming to town and standing still against a wall...LOL.

  7. Congratulations! Such an honor. That pink and yellow reminds me of those sugary lollipops- maybe sweet tarts? Loved those as a kid.
