Pinwheels All Around Block Tutorial

Each month with each new Focus Through the Prism Project QUILTING Challenge, I am sharing a fun 20” quilt block tutorial based of that months block inspiration.  This month we are to be inspired by the Pinwheel.  I came up with the ‘Pinwheels All Around Block’.  Pinwheels are not a tricky quilt block … but can be cumbersome to press where all the points meet up.  My tutorial shares with you pressing instructions to make this work out a little easier for you.

You can download this tutorial for free from my Craftsy Pattern Page until July 10th.  After that there will be a small fee on the tutorial.

I have five blocks completed from these 20” block tutorials.  Once this challenge series is done I’ll be able to put together a fun quilt top that will double as a memory to the Focus Through the Prism Challenge Inspiration.  Feel free to join in the fun and make your own quilt with me!

Have you noticed?  I’ve been using my spoonflower fabrics for these blocks!  I was able to use quite a few different ones for the Pinwheels All Around Block.
