Gift Exchange

This year we decided to pick names and exchange hand made gifts between my brothers family, my parents, and my family.  Here are a few of the gifts we made.  I’ll try to get more pictures of what everyone else made.
house and quilt
Pip picked Keri and made her a play house.
She also picked out and designed a little doll quilt for the Mermaid Lalaloopsy we got her for Christmas.  I had a lot of fun playing with the fancy stitches and walking foot on my Bernina.
Handmade Ornaments
I picked my brother’s girlfriend, Laura, and I put together a six pack of handmade ornaments for her.
Cedi and Capri decided to paint peg people for the names they picked.
Nativity Peg People
Cedi painted a nativity scene for Grandma.  I took this picture before we wrapped baby Jesus in swaddling and added wings to the angel.  Grandma Van was thrilled!
Star Wars Peg People
And I had to save this for last … Capri painted the main Star Wars characters for Uncle Brian!  I can’t decide which one is my favorite …
I didn’t get a picture of Jared’s but he had Erik’s name … Laura’s 8 year old son and he made him a box full of ‘minute to win it’ games.  How much fun does that sound!?
I’m guessing this is going to go over really well this year and it will be the start of a new tradition.
