Quilt Making: A Modern Practice Gallery Show

I’m really excited to have a couple of my quilts hanging in a real live gallery show!  When I dropped off the quilts I got a glimpse at the space and I have to say – it’s gorgeous!  I can’t wait until tomorrow night to go and visit it with all the quilts hanging!

Please join us and meet the artists.
This show features work from people all over the country, from our community, as well as Madison College. We are highlighting the modern aesthetic of quilt making including but not limited to: the use of bold colors and prints, high contrast and graphic areas of solid color, improvisational piecing,"Modern traditionalism" and Art quilts. You might see a few quilts that surprise you.
