Eight is Great–Time to Vote

TIME TO VOTE!  Choose your TEN Favorite Quilts below that were created for the Project QUILTING Eight is Great Challenge and click on the heart to vote (upper right corner)!  You can click on the photo’s themselves to read the “story” behind the quilt – my favorite part!  When you stop please take a minute to comment on your favorite thing about the quilt!  Let’s make Project QUILTING an inspiring, uplifting community that encourages and supports each other in positive ways!  Vote by clicking on the heart in the upper right corner of the image.

I am completely blown away by the number and quality of the entries for the first Project QUILTING Challenge!  Wowsa!  The previous record for most quilts finished in a one week Project QUILTING Challenge was 82.  This week - 146 quilts were started and finished!  WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The quilt with the most votes will receive …
IMG_4753“Sunday Drive by Pat Sloan” for Moda Fabrics Layer Cake plus a few other bonuses I might throw in!

Voting will close on Friday, January 13th at 8pm, CST.  Spread the word to your family and friends!

Everyone gets TEN votes so they can vote for you and then nine other quilts that they like best!
The “Viewer’s Choice” winner & random prize winners will all be announced on Saturday, January 17th.

There are a few of us who can’t qualify for prizes but still want to share with you what we created for the Project QUILTING challenge.  I’ve created a special link up for us!  Not only will we be linking up here but if you didn’t finish the challenge in time you’re welcome to link up below so folks can see your finished project – whenever that may be!

  7. Congratulations to all that accomplished a one week quilty project! What an achievement! I am looking forward to retiring from my 60 hour work week, or maybe even demoting myself to a 40 hour work week to permit more domestic related activities. I love my quilting projects! Maybe if I chose a small project, I will be joining in the linking up! Again Congrats!

  8. Going into each quilt was a definite advantage. Some of the pictures didn't do them justice until I went in to read their stories and see other pictures.

  9. It was so hard to narrow it down to 10 favorites. So much goodness! Thanks for hosting this, Kim. You are a wonderful inspiration.
