Pip’s art

I got a note home the other day to let me know that my daughter Pip, age 6, had her art up on display at the school’s office.

Much to my surprise it looked just like a quilt!  I think she did a fabulous job and I’m thinking an actual quilt may need to be created based off this piece …

  1. Hooray for Pip! That would make a beautiful "stained glass" quilt. She has quite an eye.

  2. It looks like a batik scrap quilt with black sashing around each piece. If she's interested, you could let her help you sew the quilt from her artwork.

  3. What a beautiful "quilt". I think it will be great as a quilt for her bed. What a memory!

  4. WOW!! What a talent she has! I see a beautiful Mother/Daughter quiltmaking session in your future - make all the memories you can :) Before you know it, she'll be all grown up...
