They looked fine but they werent doing what she wanted. So she put a plate on them, cut them into circles and raw edged appliqued them done. It turned into a completely different quilt and was really cool. Its not quite you. It a little plain. Lacks the excitement and vibrancy of your usual quilts ...unless these are the basis for additions. I hope this isnt too harsh. You have to think a little bit about what is going on but not as hard as you do in option 1.

The center only star doesn't have enough weight to hold down the bottom of the quilt. Option 3 is not so "top heavy" and I like the way that the top two blocks play off of each other. Hope that helps!!! It's coming along quite nicely!Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02416966548835044422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3242312292925310080.post-33794471635062049542014-06-21T11:39:30.350-05:002014-06-21T11:39:30.350-05:00Option 5 for me, I like the order of that one.Option 5 for me, I like the order of that one.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05145069330156169921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3242312292925310080.post-21438848916928649592014-06-21T11:36:01.153-05:002014-06-21T11:36:01.153-05:00 I think I like 5 the best. For me personally, I think option 6. But, everyone has different taste. Mine are just more simple and symmetrical. :) The fabrics are lovely!Jamie Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03663833246694113329noreply@blogger.com
